Assistance as part of this action is directed to a local action group (LAG) to ensure its work efficiency and professional training of people engaged in implementation of the Local Development Strategy (LDS).

According to the idea of Leader approach, the main aim of the mentioned action is to build social capital. This can be achieved by activating local community and making use of the rural areas potential more efficiently. Assistance provided as part of the action may especially concern:

- research on the area included in the LDS;

- information about the LAG action area and the LDS;

- training of staff taking part in the LDS implementation;

- promotional events connected with the LAG action area;

- training of local leaders;

- animating local communities;

- LAG's running costs.

The running costs may constitute at most 15% worth of all actions carried out by the LAG in the period of the LDS realization
